Pianist
Max Arsava is a pianist and composer. His music combines idioms of jazz and contemporary composed music, as well as free improvisation. Born in Weilheim, Bavaria, he grew up listening to local musicians like Johannes Enders and The Notwist, which would wake his interest in divergent varieties of jazz, new music, punk, noise and diverse incarnations of electronic music. Besides the piano he also plays synthesizers and other electroacoustic instruments. He’s currently mainly working as a solo artist as well as in different ensembles within the fields of jazz and free improvisation. He lives in Berlin.
